Self-run Analyzer Training 

The Dana-Farber Flow Core offers self run analysis on 7 cell analyzers, with a staff of expert cytometry technicians to assist with your experiments. Please follow the workflow below to become a certified user of the core.   • PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST AN ANALYZER TRAINING UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE PROJECT.
  • PLEASE COMPLETE STEPS 1 - 3 BELOW AND THEN THE CORE WILL BE IN CONTACT:
  • Ensure that you have an active ilabs account and active project. Click the link to fill out the form to get your training process started. 
  • The required training video will walk you through a complete single-color experiment on the LSR Fortessa. Policy review is also required.
  • You must score a 100% on this quiz to use the self-run analyzers. Questions will be derived from the training video above, and the core policies page on the website.
  • Ensure that you have an active ilabs account and active project. Click the link to fill out the form to get your one on one training process started. ​
  • Staff will be in contact once you have completed steps 1 thru 3. We will schedule your first experiment reservation in ilabs and run samples with you in person to confirm that you can operate the instrument independently using actual samples.
