Single / One-Time Reservations

Notice required is based on the total number of hours booked:

  • 4 hours or less: At least 24 business hours before the reservation start time.

  • More than 4 hours up to 6 hours: At least 48 business hours in advance.

  • More than 6 hours up to 8 hours: At least 72 business hours in advance.

  • 8 hours or more: At least 5 business days (1 week) in advance.


Recurring Weekly Reservations

Notice required is based on total hours reserved per week:

  • 1-7 hours or less per week: At least 24 business hours prior to the reservation start time.

  • More than 7 hours up to 10 hours per week: At least 48 business hours in advance.

  • More than 10 hours up to 12 hours: At least 72 business hours in advance.

  • 12 hours or more: At least 5 business days (1 week) in advance.


Snow Cancellation

Notice in the event of forecasted inclement weather:

  • You will receive an email from the core regarding available hours and staffing. Please do not prepare your sample until you receive a confirmation that the staff will be available during the storm. If the staff is not available, all sorting reservations will be deleted, and researchers will not be charged.

  • In the event a Massachusetts State of Emergency is declated, the core will not be open. Researchers will not be charged for their reservations.
