The Flow Cytometry Core at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute offers self run analysis on 8 cell analyzers, with a staff of expert cytometry technicians to assist with your experiments. Please follow the instructions below to optimize your analysis.

Analyzer Training
Analyzer Training is available for all new users, as well as experienced users who need retraining.

Sample Preparation
Samples MUST BE FILTERED no more than 20 minutes before the start of your reservation.
lease use 35 mm filter cap FACS tubes if available.
Please prepare you sample at a concentration of 1 million/mL or less. Your sample can be prepared in any media or PBS.
Cells can be analyzed using 5 mL FACS tubes, 96 well plates, or 384 well plates.
Analysis Assistance
The flow core staff are available for assistance with your experiments if you call the core 24 hours in advance it is greatly appreciated.

Analyzing Lentivirus and Human Primary Cells
- Cells must be analyzed in a 96 or 384 well plate on the HTS plate reader.
- Researcher is responsible for running an extended cleaning procedure and disinfecting the analyzer area.
- The researcher is responsible for removal and disposal of gloves, and all wipes used to disinfect the analyzer and affected areas.
